About

Geraldine Westmore Duskin was born in England and educated in Canada, France and the U.S.  She holds degrees in French & Art History, and began a doctoral thesis in Anthropology. Her talents ultimately led her to become a gallerist, costume designer and dealer of 20th century decorative arts, specializing in French Art Deco and Italian vintage.

After a diversion as a photographic model in Paris, she opened a decorative and fine arts gallery in Upstate New York, offering interior design and art consulting services to her clients.  Continuing to expand her creative talents, Duskin embarked on an award-winning fourteen year career as a costume designer for theatre and film.

Geraldine opened Ghostprint Gallery in 2007 with her daughter, Thea Duskin, to present and promote the work of a talented roster of gallery artists.  Most recently, she formed Geraldine Duskin Design to focus on the design aspects of her previous businesses, providing clients with the time and attention needed to develop the unique environments they envision.
